Students at Boldon School were once again given the opportunity to show-off, hone and discover their talents at the school’s annual talent show. Budding comedy-stars, bands, solo singers, dancers and many more utilised the opportunity to perform a show at the school’s purpose-built theatre to a sold-out audience.
All the acts were judged by a panel much like the TV show- offering encouragement and guidance to help them make the best of their talents.
The winner of this year’s competition, Lucy Herd, stunned the audience and judges with her contemporary dancing. Second place went to Shay Lawson and his urban dance routine and Zak How came third for his hilarious stand-up comedy act.
The school’s talent show will continue to allow young, gifted students to perfect their arts and skills- an important part of student development alongside their regular study. Who will be next year’s rightful champion? Come along to Boldon’s Got Talent to find out!
