We have amended our school risk assessment, in conjunction with the new guidance from the Department of Education and Public Health England. The new guidance is highlighted in red, so parents can look at the new changes. All schools are reopening on the 8th March 2021 and all schools will be following the new guidance to support the safe reopening of all schools.
Please note that the new guidance on the wearing of masks within classrooms and the consent for the testing programme of students is not mandatory. However, we fully support these intended measures, if it continues to reduce transmission and reduces the risk of students passing on the virus to family and friends. We appreciate the huge support we have received so far with all these guidelines and hope this will continue throughout our next phase. The government have stated that the guidance on wearing face coverings in classrooms will be reviewed during Easter. We will communicate the findings, once they are published.
