Each student is expected to stick to the school uniform policy which can be found on the website. The uniform set out here is the basis of our school environment and ethos and should not be deviated from. The school behaviour policy is also found on the website and must be adhered to at all times, in and around school. This policy is essential to a constructive learning environment and helps develop positive relationships in classrooms.
We strive to provide a happy working environment in which every student is valued as an individual. We aim to give the care, support and help which will enable every child to make the most of his or her academic potential and develop as a well rounded individual. Monitoring student’s progress across the curriculum is therefore part of the pastoral work in key stage 3 and 4.
Parents are kept closely involved in any developments concerning their child and may feel free to contact pastoral staff at any time regarding their son or daughter. The pastoral system recognises the importance of parents and teachers working together so that each child can derive the maximum benefit from their time here at Boldon.
Mrs L Pippin (Assistant Headteacher) is in responsible for the overseeing of the pastoral program.
The Pastoral team who are in charge of each year group are as follows:
Year 7 and 9: Mr D Crooks and Mrs T Moore
Year 8 and 10: Mr M McVay and Mrs L Davies
